Cloud DevSecOps Engineer LOCATION: Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) CITIZENSHIP: U.S. Citizen CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret to TS to TS/SCI Who We Are: A 2023 "Top Work Places" recipient (https://topworkplaces.com/company/plus3-it-systems/) A company committed to your training, technical experience growth, and well being Uniquely positioned and ready to expand, with your help, into more complex and technically challenging environments Built upon subject matter expertise supporting the Federal Government with a focus on Cloud Adoption, Cloud Security, Cloud Enabled Data Analytics, Cloud Native Application Development, and DevSecOps A small business with big partners such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft (Azure), and Google (Cloud Platform) and other technology partners; Immuta Databricks GitLab RedHat Multiple Prime contract holder (GSA, SITE III, JAIC DRAID, and NDE) Always a committed partner with our customers and laser-focused on their mission RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop automations and leverage DevSecOps tooling and practices to manage enterprise and mission IT infrastructure Develop and engineer solutions leveraging cloud services and modern frameworks Ensure system security requirements are satisfied via advanced automations and DevSecOps best practices Deploy and iterate system state with declarable infrastructure Administer user accounts and permissions within a least privileged framework Guide and participate with an operational team to sustain a multi-cloud mission critical systems Provide solution designs to integrate tools into moder CI/CD pipelines: Guide the development teams to bring in new services and applications into the pipeline Helping troubleshoot as necessary Work through steps to automate installations of software components and products into the Architecture DevSecOps Tool Integration: Guide integration of various tools for the DevSecOps process (GITLAB/GITHUB, SonarQube, Terraform, Python, Selenium, Artifactory, etc.) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Specific degree/education and years of experience are dependent on unique contract requirements 4-20 years of Information Technology related experience (less than 4 years would be considered for a Junior role) Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or civilian Federal Government Agencies experience Understanding of broad IT topics such as cloud (compute, services, storage, app development, etc.), networking, security (cyber, network, cloud, application, etc.), storage, compute, software development (code and methodology), system/application governance, data (management, analytics), etc. Current technical certification in at least 1 cloud-related discipline Technical experience and knowledge of distributed storage networks, routing and application messaging frameworks Understanding of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation Knowledge with NIST RMF, 800-37, 800-53 Desired Experience: 4 to 10 Years of experience with cloud services 4 to 6 Years of experience with DevSecOps tools and processes 4 to 6 Years of experience with Terraform and Python Experience with containerization services (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, etc.) Current technical certification in at least 1 cloud-related discipline 4 to 6 Years of experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud-based software solutions Technical experience and knowledge of distributed storage networks, routing and application messaging frameworks Demonstrated knowledge of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation 4 to 6 Years of experience with Certification & Authorization processes (i.e., NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)800-37, 800-53)
