Background & Purpose of the Job
The Controls and Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting computer systems, including software, hardware and networks. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting, implementing changes, driving to root cause of issues, implementing new tools using digital solutions and identifying improvements.

Core Responsibilities
Active participation in Covington projects for supporting software, hardware and network upgrades.
Responsible for coordinating the Cyber Security initiative for Covington.
Lead all network upgrade activities in Covington. Attend weekly calls and give weekly updates to stake holders.
Work closely with other Controls and Automation Engineers on PLC and Control Logix programming, Servos, VFD and hardware. In addition, the Controls and Automation Engineer will work with the Engineering and Focused Improvement Teams to implement new digital tools using SQL, Power Apps and Power BI.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering or related field
2-5 years of industrial experience
Proficient with MS Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, SQL Database, VMware virtual environment administration, Networking IT support experience including phone, printer, servers, and wi-fi
Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.
Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments.
Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
