Position Specification for Holley Electronics Manufacturing/Test Engineer
Location: Ogden, UT
Position Summary
The Holley Manufacturing/Test Engineer position performs engineer responsibilities in hardware, software, for electronics test development. The job responsibilities of the engineer ensure that Holley products and services meet customer expectations, company strategy, and corporate targets. The engineer will be responsible for supporting new application testing, sustainment tasking related to active & legacy products, and hardware testing. The engineer must also work with the team of Holley counterparts within Product development, Production, and Procurement to ensure all stakeholders’ needs are well represented.
Major Responsibilities
Designs and develops embedded software, PC software, electronic circuits, equipment, systems for testing automotive electronic performance tuning devices
Supports existing products by debugging errors and fixing the issues to meet production expectations
Analyzes and clarifies or resolves problems, prepares and implements design modifications to insure existing designs meet functional and performance specifications
Designs and implements software and database systems to support products testing and record keeping
Coordinates with manufacturing, quality and product development to ensure manufacturability and testability
Implement and use automotive communications protocols (CAN, K-Line, ETC.)
Basic Requirements
Experience in programming microcontrollers
Understanding of electronic manufacturing and best practices
Useful programing languages: C, C++, C#, Python
H/W Experience: circuit design, electronic debugging and troubleshooting
Electronics testing and test fixture development
Detail oriented
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Self-starter with initiative

Leadership and Communication skills. Very strong written and oral communication skills. Has successfully managed college projects and is able to inspire teammates
Education. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a four year accredited college/university
Automotive experience: powertrain knowledge (gasoline, hybrid, and diesel) control
