The Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Directorate provides effective and affordable design support and optimal sustainment solutions. Job Summary:
As a Fly-Away Support Engineer, you will provide technical support (SME) to Patriot Systems deployed worldwide as required to meet customer needs on short notice.
In this role, you will interface with a variety of customers at all levels (Government and Military) to help resolve technical problems as needed and work with Systems Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to improve fielded test procedures/processes as identified.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
You will normally work in a Test environment when not travelling to enhance system knowledge of Patriot.
This technical support will be either in person or telephonically (reach back capability).
Travel will be approximately 50% to support Patriot Systems during Unit’s scheduled rotation.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR a relevant advanced degree and 3 years of experience. A relevant PhD can account for 5 years of experience as required for this role. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience with Patriot System Operations, e.g. Patriot Radar
Experience with test equipment used to troubleshoot military systems such as Patriot
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
