We are looking for a Computer Programmer IV with a Secret clearance or higher to join our growing team in Norfolk, VA!
As a Computer Programmer IV you will:
Apply standard programming procedures to address standardized operations and statistical/scientific problems.
Perform database development, metrics dashboards, Computer Based Training (CBT), development and using NET tools and net Integrated Development Environment tools, asp.net, SQL Server 2000, and HTML editor tool as it relates to US Navy and US Army data inputs from multiple sources of varying formats.

A week in the life of a Computer Programmer IV:
Develop, modify, and maintain assigned programs
Design and implement modifications to the interrelation of files and records within program in consultations with higher level staff
Monitor the operation of assigned programs and responds to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding
Implement and maintain assigned portions of a scientific programming project, applying established scientific programming techniques to well-defined mathematical, statistical, engineering, or other scientific problems usually requiring the translation of mathematical notation into processing logic and code.
Conduct programming analysis of a single activity or routine problem, applying established procedures where nature of the program, feasibility, computer equipment, and programming language have already been decided.
Analyze present performance of the program and take action to correct deficiencies based on discussion with the user and consultation with and approval of the supervisor higher level staff.
Assist in the review and analysis of detailed program specifications in program design to meet changes in work processes.
Work independently under specified objectives and apply judgement in devising program logic and in selecting and adapting standard programming procedures.
Resolve problems and deviations according to established practices and obtain advice where precedents are unclear or not available.
May guide or instruct lower-level programmers; may supervise technicians and others who assist in specific assignments.
Works on complex programs under close direction of higher-level staff or supervisor.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. (Additional certifications, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
3+ years of experience providing programming in ASP.NET, Visual Basic (VB.NET), Active X Data Object (ADO.NET) and Java
Current DoD Secret clearance or higher eligibility
Desired understanding of US Navy and / or US Army data sources and terminology
