Responsibilities to Anticipate: Have the ability to obtain and maintain an Air Force SCI security clearance. Develop software for cutting edge ground systems. Have a direct impact on the operation of new state of the art software systems. Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance. Exposure to various technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, web services, container-based software design, and modern DevSecOps development practices. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of software engineering experience. Experience developing software products using Java. Experience with container development "Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI or Air Force SCI security clearance is required prior to start date". "U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance." Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices. Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design Experience with Agile development Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems. The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
