The State of New Hampshire, Department of Administrative Services, Division of Enterprise Application Management has a full-time vacancy for a Reporting & Interface Developer/Financial Data Specialist II. This position is a 37.5 hour work week and is exempt.
SUMMARY: To provide support of the State of New Hampshire Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including developing custom reports, custom inbound and outbound interfaces, and custom processing to support the users of the system.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Seven years of experience in information technology or information management, two years of which shall have been in a supervisory or project management capacity. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education. License/Certification: Valid driver's license and/or access to transportation if necessary for performing job accountabilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to those with experience with data extracting and reporting from enterprise-wide budgeting, financial, human resources, and data warehouse computer based systems; experience with Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports including Crystal syntax for selecting data and writing complex formulas, Crystal Enterprise, Crystal Explorer, Oracle SQL, COBOL, Unix Shell Scripting, JAVA, JAVA Script and HTML; and experience in managing the creation of documentation and training materials. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops a comprehensive working knowledge of the functionality of the State of New Hampshire Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in order to work with business users to identify and implement best business practices which insure effective and efficient use of ERP functionality and are consistent with the State’s business strategies.
Manages the preparation of specialized analysis and reports required by the Governor, Commissioner, legislative committees, and state agencies utilizing the appropriate methodology from a variety of available capabilities, including the most appropriate vehicle within the ERP system, as determined by considering criteria such as confidentiality vs. public information, availability of customer tools, or reporting outside of the State to vendors or regulatory agencies such as the Social Security Administration and IRS, in compliance with the ERP Data Security Plan.
Manages the design, development, and implementation of customizations to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as requested and approved by our business owners utilizing the most appropriate tools within the ERP system.
Evaluates training requirements and monitors the delivery of ERP training in order to ensure the right person is trained at the right time taking into consideration the various roles performed, interaction with the ERP, and the business process flow, enabling all state agencies to effectively use the ERP in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, to meet the State’s business strategies, and to meet their agency business strategies.
Manages minor ERP functional components as assigned to provide reliable, accurate, secure, and accessible data to meet strategic and management needs at all levels of the enterprise.
Represents the user community as a liaison on cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions and to optimize processes based on a thorough knowledge of State objectives and processes in order to promote and develop communications between and among business units, technical staff, and vendors to ensure successful implementation of statewide business strategies.
