Senior Product Owner
Hypertherm Associates is searching for a Senior Product Owner to participate in the long-term success of Hypertherm. The Senior Product Owner is responsible for working with stakeholders and external customers, manages the overall product roadmap, and is responsible for the strategic direction of existing and next generation products. This role is a key member of Hypertherm’s CAM & Controls Team, which creates CNC and software solutions that link Hypertherm’s products and provide the best cutting outcomes for the customer.

As a Senior Product Owner you will:
Scan the industry and survey customers to gain insight into market trends and customer needs for the product(s) assigned
Clearly express Product Backlog items in manageable portions with acceptance criteria developed from customer and stakeholder input
Act as a mentor to other Product Owners on the CAM and Controls Team to ensure that strategies are well aligned and that best practices are followed
Coordinate with Business Teams and Functional Teams to ensure that our goals and product strategies are well aligned
Communicate project status internally and externally ensuring that all channels of communication are open and that projects have the right amount of support required to succeed
Clearly communicate the strategic product roadmap to both internal and external stakeholders
Who you are and the experience you will bring:
BS/BA degree with 7+ years of customer-facing experience in industrial equipment or automation, software applications or technical support of an industrial software product or related field
5+ years of experience working with Agile software development teams
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner
Strong leadership and/or mentoring background in a related field
External customer account management experience
Strong writing, thinking and speaking capabilities in English
Capable of influencing and motivating development teams
Strong presentation and training skills
High level of “self-management”
Fully computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office 365, CRM, JIRA & Confluence, and Hypertherm Applications (Workday, HyperNet/SharePoint, Documentation)
Capability to develop and implement detailed plans; accountable to deadline and budget
Able to process technical information, enjoy working with technical products
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of ROI analytics
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
Previous Leadership experience
Automated cutting process knowledge (plasma, laser, waterjet, etc.)
MBA
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner
Expertise with creating, conducting, and analyzing customer needs through a formal Voice of the Customer process
Capable of driving continuous improvement
Location: West Lebanon, NH (Relocation assistance available)
Travel: up to 25% domestic and international travel to customer and Hypertherm locations

Base Compensation Range for this position (Grade 22) is $98,383 - $163,972
Annual Profit-Sharing with a target of 20%

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
