Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Application Software Development Intern to join our Order Engineering team within our Digital Power business unit. This position will start in Summer 2024 at our Franklin, TN hub location. What will you do? Develop electrical design automation applications that aid Project Engineers working on customer orders with productivity and quality improvements. The electrical design automation platform is built upon IGE-XAO SEE application suite (SEE Electrical Expert, SEE 3D Panel+, SEE One Panel Manufacturing, SEE Project Manager). Work closely with our Electrical Design Methods and Tools leader and assist in the development and maintenance of the “ECAD landscape” within the ETO environment across multiple facilities throughout North America. Currently enrolled in a university program as a two-year technical degree, Bachelor, Masters, or PhD student Completed course work in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field Experience with Microsoft .Net based programming languages Drafting and/or programming experience with CAD applications Located in the Nashville/Franklin area and available full-time for the duration of the summer We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
