Job Description
The Software Engineer III – DevOps is responsible for design, development, documentation, and testing of commercial software programs for WellSky.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
Performing all commercial software development duties, including but not limited to technical design, coding, and unit testing so that high quality commercial software releases are delivered to clients in a predictable and consistent schedule according to WellSky development processes
Collaborating with solution team(s) to define requirements, conducting analysis, and solving problems
Preparing technical documentation, conducting, and participating in code reviews to ensure that commercial software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices and the highest quality
Offering technical direction and guidance to other development team members and assisting in managing development environments as well as installing and configuring commercial solutions
Delivering solutions that follow best practices and established design patterns
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of development experience (Python preferred)
Do you stand above the rest?
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Terraform
Experience with CI/CD via Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions
Experience with Cloud Build
Healthcare industry experience
